SCHEDULES FOR ALL FIVE FESTIVAL STAGES & ADDITIONAL GENERAL TICKETS MADE AVAILABLE TO MEET FAN DEMAND
Gulf Shores, AL (April 11, 2013) – The The Hangout Music Fest has announced its daily schedules for three action-packed days of music on the sugar-white sand beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. On the weekend of May 17-19, 2013, the Fest will present artists on five stages: including the two beach stages, the Hangout Stage and the Chevrolet Stage; plus the Boom Boom Tent, Letting Go stage and the BMI Stage. On Friday, May 17th, the Hangout Stage will be headlined by Kings of Leon, with sets from Passion Pit, Jim James Band, The Breeders and Twin Sister. The Chevrolet Stage will feature The Shins, Grizzly Bear, Toots & The Maytals and Lissie. The Boom Boom Tent will include Macklemore & Ryan Lewis, AfroJack, Ra Ra Riot and Lance Herbstrong. The Letting Go stage will feature Big Gigantic, Ryan Bingham, The Sheepdogs and Twenty Ι One Ι Pilots. The BMI Stage will featureAnders Osbourne, The Weeks, Luella and The Sun and Colin Lake.
On Saturday, May 18th, the Hangout Stage will be headlined by Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers, with sets from The Black Crowes, Gov’t Mule, Shovels & Rope and Delta Rae. The Chevrolet Stage will feature Bassnectar, The Roots, Dirty Projectors and Nikki Bluhm and the Gramblers. The Boom Boom Tent will include Kendrick Lamar, Wolfgang Gartner, Public Enemy and Brassft Punk. The Letting Go stage will feature Slightly Stoopid, Holy Ghost!, Bright Light Social Hourand The Werks. The BMI Stage will feature The Tontons, Chancellor Warhol, Space Capone and Wild Cub.
On Sunday, May 19th, the Hangout Stage will be headlined by Stevie Wonder, with sets from Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Ellie Goulding and Grouplove. The Chevrolet Stage will feature Trey Anastasio Band, Imagine Dragons, Galactic and Best Coast. The Boom Boom Tent will include Steve Aoki, Porter Robinson, Baauer and Zion I. The Letting Go stage will feature Bloc Party, moe., Moon Taxi and The Revivalists. The BMI Stage will feature Jason Isbell & 400 Unit, Kingston Springs, The Wild Feathers and The Mowgli’s.

ABOUT THE HANGOUT MUSIC FEST:
The inaugural Hangout Music Fest was launched on May 14-16, 2010, and featured performances from Trey Anastasio, The Zac Brown Band, John Legend, The Roots, Ben Harper and Relentless7, The Black Crowes, Alison Kraus and Union Station, and more. The second Fest, which hosted a crowd of 35,000 concertgoers per day, took place on May 20–22, 2011, with performances from Foo Fighters, Paul Simon, The Flaming Lips, Cee-Lo Green and The Black Keys, among many others. The 2011 event was estimated to have generated approximately $30 million for the Gulf Shores area economy, and was later awarded “Music Festival of the Year” honors at the 23rd Pollstar Concert Industry Awards. The third annual edition occurred on May 17-19, 2012, and featured a diverse lineup including Jack White, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Dave Matthews Band, Skrillex, The String Cheese Incident, The Flaming Lips and many more.
