NICKELBACK COMING TO LOUISVILLE, KY – YUM! CENTER ON WEDNESDAY, FEB 25

  • Nickelback is on the road for the next seven months in support of their acclaimed eighth studio album, No Fixed Address (Republic Records), released last November.  No Fixed Address spawned the anthemic Active Rock hit, “Edge Of A Revolution,” and the #1 Most Added at Top 40 and iTunes Top Rock Songs Chart hit, “What Are You Waiting For?”

 

  • Nickelback will be joined by special guests The Pretty Reckless, supporting their latest release Going To Hell (Razor & Tie), for 19 dates when the tour launches, February 14 through March 15.  Michigan rockers Pop Evil will pick-up the next ten dates, March 22 through April 7.  Lifehouse will finish out the remaining 30+ dates, in support of their new release Out of the Wasteland (Ironworks Records/Kobalt Label Services), beginning on June 19 in Ridgefield, WA.

 

  • The group’s worldwide sales exceed 50 million units, solidifying their status as the “eleventh best-selling music act” and second best-selling foreign act in the U.S. of the 21st century-behind only The Beatles.

NICKELBACK ROARS BACK TO THE LIVE STAGE WITH THEIR 2012 NORTH AMERICAN TOUR BEGINNING APRIL 10th

 Louisville, KY (1/11/12) – Nickelback, one of the biggest rock bands of the past decade known for their extraordinary live performances, have announced their first North American arena tour in two years.   The Live Nation-produced tour begins on April 10th in Moline, Illinois at the i wireless Center, making a 39-date trek throughout North America, including a stop in Louisville, KY as the KFC Yum! Center on Saturday, May 26 at 6:00 p.m.  Special guests Bush, Seether and My Darkest Days, join Nickelback on all tour dates.

In Nickelback last toured in 2009 with the extremely successful, “Dark Horse World Tour” where the band performed for nearly 2 million fans with more than 120 shows around the world including stops inJapan,New Zealand,Australia, Europe andNorth America.

 

With the new tour, Nickelback will perform songs from the recently released seventh studio album, Here And Now, which debuted at #2 on the Billboard Top 200 following its November 21, 2011 release on Roadrunner Records.   Propelling Here and Now into the #2 spot were the two hit singles “When We Stand Together” and “Bottoms Up.”  Here and Now is also the biggest international release in Nickelback’s history, including a #1 debut inCanada on Universal MusicCanada.,
