Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds Coming To The Louisville Palace June 16,2014
Following a wildly captivating — and completely sold out — North American tour in early 2013, Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds return to the U.S. in the summer of 2014 to take care of some unfinished business.
Throughout this jaunt, the band will be bringing their fervent live show to familiar cities as well as municipalities that have yet to be graced (or confronted) with a Bad Seeds live experience.
On November 14th, Nick Cave partnered with the Association of Alternative Newspapers (AAN) for a special invitation-only web press conference. During this conference, journalists from AAN-member publications were able to ask Nick questions about Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds’ upcoming tour, current & past albums and a variety of other subjects. Today, readers of AAN-member publications will receive priority access to a special ticket 24 hour pre-sale on November 19 for the newly announced 2014 dates. Along with the pre-sale, readers are also able to download “The Mercy Seat” and “Mermaids” from the forthcoming Live From KCRW album from altweeklies.com and leoweekly.com.
This tour announcement precedes the release of Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds’ Live From KCRW (Bad Seed Ltd). The fourth official live album in the band’s catalog will feature stripped-down songs from the band’s most recent studio album, Push the Sky Away, as well as other tracks from their discography. Live From KCRW will be available November 29th in both CD and double vinyl formats exclusively at Record Store Day stores. The vinyl edition will include bonus tracks “Into My Arms” and “God Is In The House.” A full list of Record Store Day distributors can be found at www.recordstoreday.com/Venues. Live From KCRW will see wide release digitally on December 3. The album will also be available as a digital deluxe bundle with Push the Sky Away.
