HullabaLOU adds Artists
Country music star Dierks Bentley, musical institution Blood, Sweat & Tears, singer-songwriter Ben Folds, Grammy Award-winning rock band Train and folk-rockers The Avett Brothers are among the growing list of artists that have been added to perform at this summer’s HullabaLOU Music Festival at Churchill Downs in Louisville, Ky.
The inaugural three-day music festival, scheduled for July 23-25 at the home of the world-famous Kentucky Derby, will showcase more than 65 bands on five stages with Bon Jovi (July 23), Kenny Chesney (July 24) and Dave Matthews Band (July 25) serving as the headline acts.
Justin Moore, Tonic, Rick Bartlett’s Rockin’ Soul Revival, Exile, Green River Ordinance, Brigid Kaelin, Hazel Miller, J.D. Shelburne, Stealing Angels and Louisville’s own Villebillies have all been confirmed to perform.
So far, 42 musical acts have been confirmed for HullabaLOU:
Friday, July 23: Bon Jovi; Dierks Bentley; Gladys Knight; The Doobie Brothers; Colbie Caillat; Blood, Sweat & Tears; Train; The O’Jays; B 52s; Gloriana; Sam Bush; Chrisette Michele; Rick Bartlett’s Rockin’ Soul Revival; Exile; Green River Ordinance; Hazel Miller; and J.D. Shelburne.
Saturday, July 24: Kenny Chesney; Jason Aldean; Al Green; Ben Folds; Michael McDonald; Gov’t Mule; John Kay & Steppenwolf; Joan Osborne; Musiq Soulchild; War; Villebillies; and Brigid Kaelin.
Sunday, July 25: Dave Matthews Band; Zac Brown Band; Steve Miller Band; Dwight Yoakam; Loretta Lynn; The Black Crowes; Kansas; The Avett Brothers; 38 Special; Justin Moore; Taj Mahal; Tonic; and Stealing Angels.
