America’s #1 Celebrity Chef Paula Deen Opens Buffet and Retail Shop at Horseshoe Southern Indiana
Horseshoe Southern Indiana is excited to announce a $3.4 Million renovation underway that on September 3rd, 2010 will introduce America’s #1 chef, Paula Deen, and her new buffet and retail store to the region’s #1 casino and hotel. The Paula Deen buffet will be a one-of-a-kind must see buffet offering a vast array of delicious culinary dishes mastered by the Queen of Sothern Cuisine herself. Visitors to the new Paula Deen Buffet at Horseshoe will dine in unique spaces modeled after Colonial Southern Architecture found in Paula’s home town of Savannah Georgia. Paula put her own personal touch and influence into the design as both the Architect and Interior Designer of her new home in Savannah have also designed and modeled her new buffet at Horseshoe. Paula knows that a great dining experience goes beyond great food and she wants to make sure everyone who visits her buffet feels like they are eating one of Paula’s home cooked meals as if they were in her own dining room.
In addition to enjoying delicious Southern cuisine, visitors to The Paula Deen buffet will also be able to purchase Paula’s signature items such as apron’s, cook books, cookware and even items from her newly introduced furniture line in a 1,357 square foot Paula Deen retail store designed after her Kitchen as seen on her popular Food Network shows.. And, guests will also enjoy impromptu virtual visits from Paula via Satellite from her home in Savannah. Paula will be able to dial in from her living room and interact with patrons who are shopping in her Paula Deen store at Horseshoe.
With construction already underway, there is a true sense of excitement as guests eagerly await the new 525 seat buffet. Paula Deen herself will be on hand to preside over the opening festivities which are slated to take place on September 3rd, 2010. The buffet will feature stations modeled after some of Paula’s well known eateries such as Lady & Sons, Deen Brother’s Barbeque, and Uncle Bubba’s Oyster House. The culinary team at Horseshoe will undergo extensive training on the preparation of Paula’s famous dishes and Paula herself will help train the staff to ensure her dishes are prepared as if she were in the kitchen, and that service in the buffet has her unique style of Southern hospitality.
Much of America is familiar with Deen; she is America’s Most Popular Chef having sold 8 million copies of her cookbooks. She is a two time Emmy Award winner who is currently star of the Food Networks Top Rated Shows – Paula’s Home Cooking, Paula’s Party and Paula’s Best Dishes. Her magazine Cooking with Paula Deen has a circulation over one million strong.
